From prison, luxury car even more out of reach

A capital motoring fan refused to let a little thing like money stop him from trying to buy a $300,000 Porsche on Monday.

The man entered the car shop and declared his intention to buy one, before sitting in one that caught his eye.

When the salesman asked him to stump up the cash, he said he had none, but stayed put, perhaps having become accustomed to a life of luxury.

Police called to the scene proved less understanding, and arrested him.
