Purse snatcher topples moto, but draws a mob

An attempted bag-snatching went horribly wrong for one of the would-be snatchers on Friday in the capital’s Daun Penh district.

Police said two suspects made the attempted snatch 'n’ grab only to have the victim turn the tables and topple them from their moto.

While one of the duo managed to quickly escape through the crowd before drawing attention; the other was seized and beaten by angry villagers.

They were later admonished by police not to take the law into their own hands, while the thief was sent to court by way of hospital. KOH SANTEPHEAP
