Reputed clothing thief comes clean to police

Clothes vendors in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district handed a prolific alleged thief over to police on Friday. The 30-year-old was caught after being spotted in an area she had stolen from before.

As the well-known thief attempted to leave the marketplace, she was spotted by a vendor, and prevented from leaving by an angry crowd, who handed her to police. While the lack of stolen goods on her person prevented arrest, she allegedly admitted to her past misdeeds. NOKORWAT
