A brave young student was no match for a pistol-wielding punk in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town on Tuesday.

Police said the young woman was riding her moto home from school when the alleged robber and an accomplice pulled alongside, flashed the gun and demanded she stop.

Deciding she’d rather risk a race, the girl took off like a bolt, but wasn’t fast enough to outrun the bullet the assailant fired into her left leg.

Nearby cops saw the whole thing and gave chase, apprehending the alleged shooter when he fell from the moto.
