Designed in Australia and made in Cambodia, the product has so far been distributed to 1,300 households across almost all of the Kingdom’s provinces. Photo supplied
A cassava truck caused a pile-up on a bridge at the Kampong Cham-Tbong Khmum provincial border on Friday.
Bystanders said the brakes might have failed, causing the truck to snap off the bridge railing and nearly fall off, before rolling over and destroying five cars.
Amazingly, no one was injured in the massive crash. The driver, who was on his way to sell the cassava in Vietnam, has been detained, pending a court date.
