A capital conman made the mistake of double dipping by trying to pass off fake jewellery at the same pawnshop twice on Sunday.
When a pawnbroker in Teuk Thla commune noticed that the bracelet she had paid $50 for was a fake, she called the police, mentioning the suspect had already tried the scam once before.
After he was tracked down, the swindler swore it was authentic but was still ushered on to the station for questioning.
