Scoopy-riding couple lose ride to violent thugs

A couple's evening was spoiled by moto-driving thugs in Phnom Penh’s Prampi Makara district on Tuesday night.

The couple was heading home on their Scoopy motorbike when four men showed up on two motos and kicked the couple’s ride over.

One of the robbers pulled a gun and pistol-whipped the female victim before driving off on the Scoopy.

The male victim took his girlfriend to the hospital before reporting the crime. Police are still investigating.
