Scooter thief’s getaway leaves much to be desired

Neighbourly relations went right down the drain in Siem Reap on Tuesday when police tracked down a stolen scooter to a residence just a few houses from where it was taken.

The 27-year-old victim told the boys in blue he left his ride unlocked in front of his Sra Nge commune house shortly before it went missing.

After a bit of sleuthing, the set of wheels was spotted outside a nearby house, and the 21-year-old suspect was carted to a holding cell to await legal action.
