Seven sentences for seven moto thieves

It's better to give than to receive, the old saying goes, but it’s a philosophy that’s found little purchase in the heart of the city’s moto thieves, seven of whom were arrested on Tuesday.

Police said a dragnet in Por Sen Chey district on Tuesday saw them hit a series of separate residences where they found the alleged thieves along with a stolen moto (or two) in each home.

The bikes were stolen over a period ranging from two years ago to just recently. All seven men have been sent to court. DEUM AMPIL
