Seven used to be Kratie driver’s lucky number

A 29-year-old fan of daytime drinking was arrested in Kratie town on Sunday afternoon after crashing his Lexus into not one, not two, but seven motorcyclists while under the influence.

Police said the man was leaving a bar when the crash occurred.

The driver attempted to flee, but police pursued and arrested him, sending him to the district police station.

He confessed to driving drunk the next morning after waking up in a jail cell.

The victims of the crash are being treated in hospital.
