Silver-tongued thieves lure lad into unlocking

A trusting 13-year-old home alone in Poipet fell victim to a pair of deceptive robbers on Sunday. The thieves knocked on the door and claimed the boy’s mother had invited them over, coaxing the teen to let them inside.

When he opened the door, one robber held the boy at knife-point while the other snatched phones and laptops – escaping just as they heard a car pull up to the house.

The moment they left, the teen tattled and police are now on the hunt for the suspects. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
