A man was beaten with a stick while he slept in his house in Oddar Meanchey’s Anlong Veng district on Thursday.

The 24-year-old returned to his home from his plantation guard job to take it easy. But putting his feet up turned into getting his head pounded on, leaving him unconscious in a pool of blood and his wife having to get him to hospital.
