It was a mob beating that added injury to incompetence. A man, 20, and his younger accomplice, 16, were left writhing in pain after robbing a foreigner of her jewellery in the capital’s Chamkarmon district on Friday night.

After snatching the necklace in a motorbike drive-by, the pair looked home free.

That was until the victim screamed, causing the motorbike driver to panic and crash into an oncoming car.
