Snatch-and-grab duo grabbed and smashed

It was a mob beating that added injury to incompetence. A man, 20, and his younger accomplice, 16, were left writhing in pain after robbing a foreigner of her jewellery in the capital’s Chamkarmon district on Friday night.

After snatching the necklace in a motorbike drive-by, the pair looked home free.

That was until the victim screamed, causing the motorbike driver to panic and crash into an oncoming car.

If the injuries sustained from the crash weren’t enough, an angry mob descended on the pair and administered a beating. KOH SANTEPHEAP
