Snatch-n-dash fails as getaway driver bails

“If the police are ineffective, just do it yourself” seems to be the motto of many featured in these pages, and so it was when a thief stole a mobile phone from a Phnom Penh wedding on Thursday.

A man was resting and listening to music on his phone when the thief ran in, snatched the phone and tried to escape on a waiting motorbike.

Unfortunately for him, he was chased down by the victim and others, and attacked before police intervened. His driver got away. KOH SANTEPHEAP
