A sneaky thief strikes during car-seat cat nap

A man has lost more than his memories of a big night out after being robbed in his car while passed out drunk in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district on Sunday.

According to police, the victim returned to his car from a club and started driving home, but pulled over to nod off.

An opportunistic thief broke into the locked vehicle, taking cash, $200 worth of jewellery and an iPhone while the victim slumbered.

Upon waking, man discovered the theft and filed a complaint to police.
