A three-man chain-snatching crew put a Banteay Meanchey woman in hospital on Sunday after wrenching a necklace from her throat as she walked to her Poipet home.

While the snatch-and-grab was initially successful, patrolling cops saw the incident and gave chase, arresting them before they could flee the neighbourhood.

Caught red-handed, the culprits admitted their guilt and have been sent to court. DEUM AMPIL
