Thief takes everything but the kitchen sink

A 31-year-old was arrested for pinching the belongings of a garment worker on Monday afternoon in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district.

The suspect managed to unlock the worker’s locked room, and was helping himself to the worker’s rice cooker and gas hob, among other things, when eagle-eyed neighbours who rented a room nearby spied the sneak and apprehended him before calling the cops, putting a stop to the suspect’s kitchenware kleptomania.

Police are now preparing documents to send him to Phnom Penh Municipal Court.
