Two out of five wasn’t bad, but it was the snatched bag that got away on Monday night when capital authorities chased down a group of thieves in Tuol Kork district.

The victim said she was driving along when five men on two bikes surrounded her and came away with her purse.

When patrolling officers made it to the scene bystanders had apprehended two of the culprits and given them a taste of city justice before they were handed over for arrest.

Cops began the search for the remaining three suspects who managed to get away with the handbag.
