Thugs underestimate a capital husband’s resolve

A husband did all he could to take down the thieves who tried stealing his wife’s handbag early yesterday.

The couple was riding through Phnom Penh’s Stung Meanchey commune when four guys on two bikes pulled near and grappled for her purse.

It fell to the ground, as did one of the culprits’ bikes when the honourable hubby chased them down.

The suspects all managed to escape but cops on the scene confiscated the abandoned scooter and made sure the bag was handed back to its owner.
