Thwarted thief had a chip off his shoulder

It seems the capital may have its own Batman-esque vigilante as a bag snatcher was chopped by an unknown individual in Daun Penh district after failing to steal from a foreigner.

Witnesses say after the suspect was unable to take the visitor’s satchel someone whacked him with a blade before he ran to Sorya Mall to seek help for his wounds.

Neither the foreigner nor the amateur ninja were found and the clipped culprit was sent to the hospital by responding officers.
