Unscrupulous renter’s ‘journey’ ends at station

A woman decided to make some extra cash off a rented vehicle, but found herself behind bars instead.

The unsuccessful entrepreneur rented a black Lexus for $1,100 a month last month claiming she was embarking on a personal journey.

The journey took her as far as another renter, whom she loaned it to for $9,000. For a few weeks, the woman thought she had made off with almost $8,000 profit, before police arrested her in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Sunday.
