Victim is finally rid of persistent phone thief

A 21-year-old man was arrested in Poipet in Banteay Meanchey province, after authorities received word he had pilfered three mobile phones from the same 51-year-old man.

His victim had filed a complaint to provincial military police last Thursday, and authorities picked the light-fingered young man up later that day.

The suspect confessed before police had a chance to search him and has been sent to provincial court. The victim got his phones back.
