Violent man beats lover up to old tricks

A Battambang man was arrested on Monday after savagely beating his partner. The man, 38, a construction worker, said he had fallen in love with a 29-year-old prostitute and the pair had decided to live together.

He promised to stop taking drugs, and she pledged to quit sex work. Apparently she breached her promise while he was at work.

Upon finding out what had occurred, the enraged man physically attacked his lover, landing him behind bars, and her in hospital with facial injuries. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
