Window of opportunity leads to missing motos

A young man made a nifty escape after police arrested him for the theft of a moto.

The 20-year-old, from Ratanakkiri’s Kon Mom district, was allegedly caught stealing a moto on May 11 and was due to be sent to the provincial court, but he never made it there.

Instead, the quick-thinking suspect was reported to have crawled through the window at the holding cell at the district police station on Friday, jumped atop yet another stolen moto and sped away.

Police are still hunting for the escapee.
