Woman spots plate from moto stolen year earlier

All the numbers aligned for a capital woman who called on authorities on Tuesday when she spotted someone driving in Phnom Penh Thmey commune using the licence plate that was stolen from her.

Noting she was the victim of scooter theft a year ago, the 36-year-old identified the tag and police went to investigate.

The suspect claimed her son had bought the plate at the market for her unlicensed ride, so cops returned it to its rightful owner.
