A construction worker in Phnom Penh is lucky to be alive after an entire floor collapsed on him on Saturday.

He and his fellow workers were putting together the first floor of a house in Sen Sok district when a support pillar failed, sending the unfinished masonry down atop the worker.

He was immediately rushed to Preah Kossamak Hospital with injuries to his waist and left wrist.
