Ang Sam Art crowned K-Cement champion

Ang Sam Art clinched the inaugural K-Cement Championship title at CTN Arena on Sunday, bringing to an end the eight-man boxing tournament that began on August 5.

The 26-year-old boxer, from the Ta Prohm Meanchey Bongkrab Kreung Ngean Club, secured a points decision over Sarim Nga in the five-round final in a repeat result of their group-stage fight.

Ang Sam Art, who was undefeated in all five of his competition bouts, collected a Honda Scoopy motorbike and 2.4 million riel (US$600), while runner-up Sarim Nga walked away with 2.4 million riel.

Third-place finisher Ung Bora won two million riel and Chhit Ngoy got 1.6 million riel for fourth.
