After losing the first set, the Austrian rallied back to win 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 in the longest match of the round so far. In the day’s other singles matches, Elbert Sie of Indonesia beat Japan’s Koki Matsunaga 7-6, 6-3, Weerapat Doakmaiklee of Thailand rolled over Estonia’s Vladmir Ivanov 6-3, 6-3, Rohan Gajjar of India overcame compatriot Vivek Shokeen 7-6, 6-2, Dae-Soung Oh of Korea hammered Japan’s Kento Takeuchi 6-2, 6-2, and Kirati Siributwong of Thailand defeated India’s Ashutosh Singh 7-5, 6-4.
