The Maruhan Japan Bank Charity Fun Run went off without a hitch yesterday morning with around 300 sponsored participants running around the track of Olympic Stadium to raise fund for local NGO Pour un Sourire d’Enfants, which helps provide food, health care, accommodation and education to underprivileged children from the streets of the capital.

Sponsored by Maruhan Japan Bank and Eightball Productions, the event saw runners complete laps to cash in on pledges from friends and family. The highest amount raised was $617 by Ly Sorphea, who ran seven laps, while the top distance of the day was 15 laps.
