MCL to welcome two top-tier debutants

Senate Secretariat beat Asia Europe University 1-0 in the Division A1 final yesterday morning in Pursat.

Both teams had sealed promotion to the 2013 Metfone C-League for the first time by winning their semifinals against former top- tier clubs.

The Senate side edged Chhma Khmao Svay Rieng 2-1, while Asia Europe walloped Prek Pra Keila 5-0 on Saturday.

Chhma Khmao registered a consolatory 3-0 victory over Prek Pra in the playoff for third place.
