Mekong University retained their Mekong International School Cup title on Sunday with a 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Bassac FC in the final on their home pitch. Striker Meoung Panith opened the scoring for Bassac before Mekong’s Nelson cancelled out the advantage to send the game to spot kicks. In the third place playoff, Anvaya FC beat BKE FC 3-2. BKE won the tournament’s fair play award.
