The Cambodian petanque team returned home this week riding high on their stellar performance at the 15th Asian Petanque Championships, which was held in Bangkok and concluded on Monday. Of the 13 participating nations, Cambodia ended up second behind Thailand with a medals haul of 2 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes. The hosts had bagged 2 gold,1 silver, and 9 bronze medals, while third placed Vietnam took 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronzes.
