Cambodian boxer Phal Sophat stormed past Sivongsack Andy of Laos yesterday with a 13-2 points decision victory in their Men’s 60kg round of 32 bout at the Foshan Gymnasium. Sophat will now face Uzbekistan’s Hurshid Tojibaev tomorrow for a place in the quarterfinals. Also tomorrow, Cambodia’s Svay Ratha will begin his men’s 64kg campaign against Vinky Montolalu of Indonesia.
