With Sam Schweingruber unable to undertake his duties as he recovers from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, Phnom Penh Crown have announced the appointment of Oriol Mohedano as the club’s first team coach.

The 29-year-old from Barcelona holds a UEFA A Licence and has playing experience in Spain. His coaching pedigree has seen him land roles in Spain, Switzerland and Finland, the club said.

A one-year contract has been agreed and Mohedano will be in charge of the team as they prepare for the start of the new 2016 Metfone C-League on February 7 and the Hun Sen Cup campaign.
